Color Products
These items are used by "stampers" to color rubberstamps or to add more color to a stamped design.
Brush Markers
  • Brush color directly onto stamp for multicolor stamping.
  • Color in a stamped design.
  • Fabric & Textile Markers
  • Permanent, water-based pigment ink.
  • Will not fade or wash out.
  • Ideal for coloring in designs on fabrics or wood.
  • Watercolor Pencils
  • Used to add special effects such as a watercolor wash or multi-color blending to a design.
  • Calligraphy Markers
  • Available in water-soluble varieties and gives a watercolor effect.
  • Use directly on stamp or to color in the stamped design.
  • Metallic Pens
  • Generally an oil-based metallic paint.
  • Do not use on the rubberstamp.
  • Great to accent calligraphy.
  • Glow-In-The-Dark Pen
  • Used to give designs a special glow.
  • Glitter Glue
  • Glitter suspended in a glue medium.
  • Do not apply to the rubberstamp.
  • Used to dab, write, draw or outline with.
  • Water-Based
    Acrylic Craft Paints
  • Favorites for all sorts of stamping, especially home decor projects, walls and furniture.
  • Also works great for fruit and potato stamping.
  • White Line Pens
  • Also called correction pens.
  • Used on dark or colored papers.
  • Artist's Pastel Sticks
  • Used on paper.
  • Blend colors with a blending stick then seal with acrylic craft spray.
  • Loose Glitter
  • Use with a glue pen to add sparkle to designs.
  • Embossing Products
    These items provide raised, shiny, metallic or textured impressions created on materials such as paper, wood, or fabric.
    Embossing Ink
  • Special colorless or slightly tinted ink with a slow drying glycerin base.
  • Using ink, press stamp onto project surface, cover with embossing powder, (dump off excess) and heat with a heat embosser, or embossing gun.
  • Embossing Powder
  • The secret to the embossing process.
  • Comes in a variety of colors and finishes.
  • Can be applied with special embossing ink or a glue pen and then heated.
  • Heat Embosser
  • Tool used to activate or melt the resin in embossing powder, creating a slightly raised, shiny surface.
  • Heat guns or heat tools can also be used.
  • Embossing Pen
  • Adds shine and dimension to designs.
  • Use with clear or metallic embossing powders.
  • Available with calligraphy tip or brush tip.
  • Use pen where desired, apply powder and heat.
  • Embossing Gun
  • An electric gun that directs a stream of hot air onto a design to activate the resin in the embossing powder.
  • Only the tip gets hot.
  • Do not allow children to use without supervision.
  • Burnisher
  • A ball-end or stylus hand tool used for dry embossing.
  • Raises lines and shapes on paper.

    Stamp Cleaner
  • Squeeze sponge applicator top onto stamp face then wipe with a paper towel.
  • Stamp Cleaner Pad
  • Additional product to clean stamps.
  • Just add water to use.
  • Paper Punch
  • Use to create interesting borders for all types of paper projects.
  • Paper Edger
  • Scissors with patterned cutting blades.
  • Doublestick Foam Dots
  • Come in sheets and rolls.
  • Allows the stamper to make pop up 3-D designs.
  • Stamps
    Foam Handle
  • Among the least expensive stamps available.
  • Often used for children's stamps.
  • Wooden Handle
  • Higher in price but lasts a long time.
  • Provides very even pressure.
  • Best stamp for fabric.
  • Wood grip gives deeper etch for detailed impressions.
  • Roller Stamp
  • Can have a wood or more commonly, a plastic handle.
  • The design is on the wheel, which can repeat a design in one continuous roll.
  • Rubber Stamp
  • Most common stamp.
  • Anything into which a raised design can be cut and covered with color or medium to stamp.
  • Inks and Dyes
    Depend on the end use and the material onto which the stamp is being applied. Always ask what the "stamper" will be using as a base.
    Ink Pad
  • Available in single colors or in "rainbow" stripes of several colors.
  • Re-Inker
  • A liquid that can be applied to an ink pad to extend its usage.
  • Applicator
  • Used to apply ink directly to the stamp.
  • Pigment Ink
  • Popular pads with brilliant, opaque colors that are permanent and fade resistant.
  • Used mostly on paper goods.
  • Dye-Based Ink
  • Quick drying and produces clear, bright colors on paper, especially coated stocks.
  • Creates an old engraving sepia (brown) tone effect when black and brown are combined on glossy paper.
  • Not permanent. Water-based and easy clean up.
  • Not recommended for use on fabrics.
  • Washable Ink
  • A version of dye-based ink which is non-toxic and safe for children.
  • Also available in fruit and candy scents.
  • Cleaned easily from most surfaces.
  • Fabric Ink
  • Water-based ink designed for fabrics.
    Also non-toxic.
    Allows crafter to stamp on fabric and then set the designs by ironing the front and back of the stamped image.
